QUIZ RECAP

So excited to be back at Hopheads Taproom for our first night of trivia!!

We had a small but mighty group of two newcomer teams "Lone Wolf" and "The Llamas." The first round started off as a bit of a challenge for both teams, but the two teams were each able to score 3 out of the 6 points with their shared knowledge of presidential candidates, oceanic countries and Renassaince paintings.

The second round was quite the stumper for both teams when neither of the teams were able to identify any of the fictional bovine characters. They both agreed that the picture round was a load of bull!

The third round proved to be another challenge for the two teams, but Lone Wolf was able to gain ahead when they correctly answered two of the six questions correct while The Llamas were only able to correctly answer one question.

Round 4 proved to be another toughy! The Lone Wolf was able to guess the mystery person as Peter Parker on the last hint giving them a 2 point advantage over The Llamas.

Round 5 helped both teams gain a bit more traction during Find The Connection, when they proved to know their stuff about complex subjects like chalk, children's magazines and fountains. Ultimately, Lone Wolf sustained their lead keeping them in first place with a score of 12.

Moving on to round 6, the two teams were tested on their TV show finale knowledge when the teams were asked to match the TV Show with the year of its final season. Although both teams were able to the ending of classic shows like I Love Lucy and Cheers, Breaking Bad and Dawson's Creek seemed to have confused the teams. The round ended with Lone Wolf correctly answering 5 out of the ten questions and The Llamas answering 3 out of the ten.

Finally, the last round quizzed the two teams on their Subway knowledge when the round required them to list the top ten countries with the most Subway locations. Both teams proved to be experts on this as they were both able to list 6 out of the ten countries, but ultimately Lone Wolf proved to be the true victor and walked away with a gift card to Hopshead.
