| In 2012, three dads, Akida Mashaka, John Speaks affectionately known to everyone simply as "Speaks", and Paddy Aubrey, met at their children’s preschool and had the idea to create a local neighborhood bar/restaurant concept that catered to local communities, with a fashionable yet relaxing ambiance, where you could go with your family, enjoy a refreshing weekend brunch, have parties, host events, meet up for lunch, catch the game, or simply hang out late night over drinks with friends.

The idea is to provide a friendly neighborhood pub with quality food and drinks that caters to everyone in the immediate and surrounding communities, hence the word "Public" in our name. Our motto "By the People, For the People" is indicative of our community pub concept.

We provide friendly service offering local farm-to-table seasonal contemporary American comfort cuisine with light and healthy options, paired with craft and local beers, quality wines, and specialty and classic cocktails. We offer weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night ambiance. |

Oh hey everyone. It's me, the new regular host here at the Hyperion Public.

I wasn't the only newcomer tonight. All our teams were playing their first game at the HP! as well!

During tonight's BBQ-themed round our teams learned of the passing of Bush's Beans Dog and answer to that round, Duke. RIP Duke.

Three out of the four teams got our Guess Where round tonight and kept the scores neck and neck until...

Round five saw Poopity Scoop Scoopity Poop have a successful double down while Gak alas, did not. Thus began PSSP's lead that would end with first place.

However, Gak won themselves a round of free drinks by winning a game of Higher or Lower.

It was a great first night and I hope to see everyone again next week!

The season finale of Tuesday Night Trivia was no less than spectacular!

3 teams of regulars going back as far as the days of Spitz Studio City faced off.

Multi-champs Multiple Scorgasms and the appropriately titled The Final Countdown were the early leaders, staying neck and neck throughout the game. Steagles kept it close going into Round 6, where all teams put down the exact same answers, all teams attempted to double, and all teams FAILED! This set the stage for the final round. In the end, Final Countdown maintained their 1 point edge and stole the win away!

Thank you Hyperion Public Studio City, thank you King Trivia, thank you to all my regulars, and thank you to all managers, venues, players, and hosts that I met throughout my 2 years as a regular Quizmaster. I may be back some day, but for now...

The Countdown begins for the final episode of Tuesday Night Trivia with Kyle Serra (a.k.a. my last show NEXT WEEK!) Don't worry, King Trivia will continue at the Hyperion afterwards.

Rockford Impeaches were the leaders most of the game, but one team Showed us some Surprises with their knowledge of the Tony Awards and surged ahead with a successful Double-Down in Round 6. That won them the game while Space Force 5 rocketed into 2nd.
