It was a great night for the Quiz at Jellyfish Brewing Company!

The scores were super close all night with only 7 points difference between all the teams and two ties to break at the end of Round 7.

Quiz on my Jelly was tied with Ms. Smarty Pants for 1st with the prize going to the former. And HR Department tied with Bar Mathletes for 3rd with the prize going to the latter!

But don't feel too bad for the other teams- Cooking Whine won HALF OFF their beer tab by folding the farthest flying paper airplane in the Drinking Round, HR Department showed great innovation by using a paper plate for scrap paper, and Livin' La Vida Quarantine won a victory everytime they fought through the pain of lifting a beer glass to their lips despite raw hands from all the washing.

What a great night! Our teams with were energized, having fun, and perhaps a little vocal at the answer reads; cheering the winds, sobbing at the losses, and groaning at my jokes. I appreciate that. We had one successful Double or Nothing and another instance where a team wished they had gon for Double or Nothing. A majority of teams tonight learned that Mexico is a part of North America.

What a great first night! We had three teams for the first night of King Trivia at Jellyfish Brewing and they were having a great time. Team Coronalimevirus brought the smartest player of the evening and she was a good dog!

At Jellyfish, we had a special road between Rounds 4 and 5, a drinking round where the winner of the round received half off on their bar tab! All they had to do was pitch me their movie idea. Tom's Plumbs pitch the idea of a high fantasy were kingdoms fought, vying for supremacy while an undead army amassed in the north. I cautioned against this pitch as HBO may take offense, though if it were better than the final season of Game of Thrones, I'd be there. Quiz on my Jelly proposed the most gruesome of pitches, the Human Centipede 4: The Orphanage. That's not the worst pitch I've ever heard, but still, I think I need to bleach my memory for that. As a moviegoer, I like horror movies, and Team Coronalimevirus pitched a horrific idea: The Nickleback Story, As Told By Dogs. Horrific in concept sure, but think of the doggo! That good girl of a dog, secured her team the win.

It was a great night!
