So... I like to think every edition of King Trivia is a fun one... and I know I'm right. But some nights are just a little more fun than others. Could be the questions, could be the leaderboard shuffling, or could be the players.
Tonight, we had a little bit of everything. Four teams, and all of them brought a little something to the game.
I'm going to also say that tonight's questions were TOUGH, overall! Round One got off to a slow star with no team getting more than 3 out of the 6 questions (there was a cat in Cinderella?). Round Two got all the teams a bit more cocky, where three of the teams used their Doubles successfully.
After that, it was a mixed bag. Who knew Sir Ian Mckellan could be so controversial? Who knew so many remakes of Disney movies existed? And who knew Starbucks' HQ was in Seattle (ok, in all fairness, everyone did)?
Only one point separated the battle for 3rd Place, and a strategic Double in Round Six thrusted one team into the lead, which they kept for the final round. Congrats to Knobheads for the win, and big applause ??? for all the teams!
Remember, for the next few weeks, every player of King Trivia at the Last Chance Inn will be entered into a raffle to win a 55" TV. Come early, come often, and bring your friends!

Tonight we had four fun teams ready to start Thanksgiving festivities early! From the seasoned to the new, we all came together and got ready to picker and argue-- just like Thanksgiving dinner!
Knobheads pulled into the lead in Round One, and they never let up. Round Two further extended their lead with one of the easiest Picture Rounds I've ever seen (but apparently people still didn't know the difference between a black eyed pea from a chestnut).
We had the Hydration Round, and this might have been the highlight of the night. Seeing adults do their best to blow a bubble with bubble gum in record time was classic to watch! I fully expected one of the contestants to spit the gum out of their mouth while attempting the feat...but no, they managed. The Dream Team ALMOST got it but that bubble was just shy of the requisite cue ball size bubble to win. A representative from Knobheads won this one as well!
The game continued, and with three teams still in the mix, we had a tie for 2nd place at one point. Jill leaned on Jack for help with the NFL question, but it wasn't enough. Congrats to our teams for a great game!

We had some great teams tonight-- some came out ready to compete, and some wondered...."Trivia? Ok, we wanna play!"
The teams were fairly steady in their prowess, climbing and climbing...that is, until the Guess Where round, where 3 teams each lost a point. The leading teams shifted places a few times, and after three teams got a -1 for Guess Where, and a beverage round break to see who our rockers were (kudos to Knobheads!), our teams were STILL fairly equally matched. Of course, one team has to be the winner, and only two points separated #1 & 2 teams!
Congrats to Knobheads for the win, and the $30 gift certificate! 2nd and 3rd places won $15 and $10, respectively.
