Another fun night of KingTrivia at Lexington Grille & Pub! With the often-dominating "Penguins" team sitting this night out, it was anyone's game! This was a very close came right until the end -- and we even needed a tiebreaker to decide the winner. By round 4, the scores were 21, 18, 15 -- and no team scores any points on Round 4 (Michael Lipton!). Going into the final round, Century 21 led the Bootleg Farmers by just 1 point! In the final round, C21 scored 7 points and BF scored 8 points, leaving them tied! On the tiebreaker question, "What is the running time of Disney's Mulan?", C21 came closest by guessing 110 minutes to BF's guess of 150 minutes (correct answer was 88!). Century 21 ended up with the Victory! See you next week, Quizmaster Dan!

Another exciting, down-to-the-wire night at Lexington Grille and Pub for King Trivia! Team Penguin, who has attended (and largely dominated) every Trivia night since we began, split into two competing teams for Sunday's competition. The"new" team, the Bootleg Farmers, got off to a slow start as the Penguins had a 33-20 lead at the end of Round 4. Anything can happen in King Trivia, however, as two straight rounds of 0 points for the Penguins allowed the rival Bootleg Farmers to take the lead by the very next round with a timely "double or nothing" play! Team Pippi was then in the mix for 2nd place, cutting their deficit to only 7 points by Round 6! Coming down to the wire, the Final Round was the decider, as the Bootleg Farmers simply knew more about X-Men movies than anyone should! In the end, the Bootleg Farmers came back from being down 13 points to ultimately winning by 11 points! Pippi made a strong push for 2nd place, but ultimately missed 2nd place to the Penguins by 6 points! See you next week for another great Sunday night at Lexington with King Trivia! After a snowstorm derailed last week's King Trivia event, Lexington Grille and Pub was back in action for another fun Sunday with King Trivia! Team Penguins, who had easily won the last two events, was finally challenged by a team who was visiting from California with obvious experience in dominating King Trivia games! After the Penguins gambled and went double-or-nothing in Round 5, answering one question incorrectly, it looked like a defeat was very likely. However, a successful Double or Nothing play in Round 6 brought them within 1 point of the leading Trivin On A Prayer team, with Team Elvira only 10 points behind! The last round was suspenseful -- both Team Penguin and Trivin on a Prayer scored 8 points on the final "Highest Earning Dead Celebrities" question -- giving the visiting Trivin On A Prayer a one point victory!
