About Little Bar

With the feel of a New England Style bar set in the middle of Los Angeles, Little Bar serves updeliciously creative cocktails, and touts 18 beer taps, predominantly employed with craft beers. There's always an interesting selection of bottle beers and an ever-changing wine selection, as well.

The jukebox has 1,000's of song selections that you can listen to while you play a game of darts on one of the two steel tip dart boards adorning the wall in the back.

Little Bar has also been featured on HBO and Showtime's "Entourage" and "Shameless" as well as getting a fabulous makeover on HGTV's "The Antonio Treatment".

Quite an action-packed game was played last night, with a packed house, as well - a walloping 13 teams were in competition. Tequila Mockingbird (AKA Trivia Newton John) gambled big with a number of double-or-nothing rounds, and the gamble payed off - they won every round, and took 1st place for the night. Downey Dicks took 2nd place, and King Trivia League newcomers RVSP took 3rd place. There was some exciting controversy in Round 5 when it was contested whether Mount Shasta should be considered an "active" or "potentially active" volcano - in the end, as always, the Quizmaster was right, and it was decided that Mount Shasta is a potentially active volcano. The top 3 teams went home with their prizes of gift cards for future visits to Little Bar, and great fun was had by all.

I'm told it was a little quiet at the Little Bar, being right befo' Christmas y'all. But we had holiday fun one and all, and everybody loved the Christmas themed quiz. Big shout out to the staff - Gino / AJ / & Brendan, they were very sweet and helpful to this frazzled trivia sub. It was a great way to get outta the hustle and bustle. Congratulations "On Equal Par With Ezra" for taking home first prize. The rest of you, LOVE all the late game desperate doubling, there's no crying in trivia!

The Grinch wouldn't have been able to steal any of the holiday spirit emanating throughout little bar tonight - the Christmas lights, ugly holiday sweaters, reindeer headbands, and joyful singing between rounds would have made that heart grow so big it would have popped all the way up there on Mt Krumpit. Thanks to the players and bartenders for closing out my last Saturday night trivia of 2018 with style, jollies, and some ho ho ho's. We'll see you all next year (but also keep coming and be nice to the substitutes the next two weeks) where I can promise there will be more questions, more doubles, more pictures, more guessing who's, more connection finding and lots and lots of final rounds courtesy of Box Office Mojo.
