QUIZ RECAP
It was a warm October evening at Maple Block Meat Co. as 8 teams joined us for King Trivia!
The teams were quick to show their trivia prowess in round 1 as they answered some General Knowledge questions, and we got alphabetical in round 2 as they had to identify the letter being depicted using the NATO phonetic alphabet.
Round 3 had the players answering questions all about people named Johnson or whose fathers were named John, and they did an excellent job in round 4 as they had to guess the famous animated rat we were looking for in our Guess Who round.
Teams had a lot of fun with their answers in round 5 as they tried to Find the Connection, and we revisited our childhoods in round 6 as they matched the children’s TV show to the host in our Matching round.
It was a close competition all night, but after round 7 in which teams had to name 10 of the 12 states whose postal abbreviations include the letter “A”, Blocktoberfest won first place, with Horn Pub coming in second and DreAmber winning third!

We said goodbye to summer and an early hello to fall at Maple Block Meat Co. this evening as four teams joined us for King Trivia!
The night started off with some General Knowledge in round 1, and then it turned real “newsie” in round 2 as teams had to identify the decade from the newspaper snippet in our Picture round.
Round 3 was a fun one all about Scooby-Doo and the work of Luis Guzman, and players did a fantastic job in round 4 as they guessed the famous young singer we were looking for in our Guess Who round.
Round 5 shook up the competition and made it real close as players had to Find the Connection, and we traveled across the world for round 6 as teams matched the river to the city it passes through for our Matching round.
After an “elemental” round 7, Bates Stamp Champs emerged with the win, with Lonely Onlys winning second and Go Browns winning third!
All-in-all, another wonderful night of King Trivia at Maple Block Meat Co.!
