Tuesday night TRIVIA NIGHT at Marco Polo Bar & Grill! I, Quizmaster TC, had the opportunity to fill in and host for the amazing guests who were already there. I got to bring my wife with me and leave our kids at home for this night out together. From the start until the end, there was much laughter, cheers, and fun bantering between the teams. We had Bottomless Pits, PinkCookies, The Fuzz, and Turkey competing for the 1st, 2nd, and last place prizes!
We played through 7 exciting rounds of trivia. For most of the night, Turkey was the team to beat...until the last couple of rounds. Bottomless Pits caught up and took the 1st place win! Turkey still won a prize in 2nd place. And PinkCookies secured their last place prize all throughout the night. The Fuzz were great sports and won a photo with me and the winning team. 🙂
It's been a while having such fun in-person with strangers and new friends over some good trivia. We appreciate Marco Polo Bar & Grill for giving us this space where we can feel welcomed and interact with one another.
Make sure y'all come by Marco Polo, order their World Famous Broasted Chicken, grab some drinks, and play some trivia on Tuesdays at 8pm!

As the poet Rob Thomas once said, man, it's a hot one...inside the Marco Polo Bar & Grill this week! (Pretty sure that's in the official lyric sheet, right?)
Two teams battled head-to-head for that coveted first place finish in a game that was a whole lotta fun, but anything but Smooth. In the end, trusty regulars Y'all Motherfuckers Need Science eked out a 3-point win vs. Sticky Chicken Fingers, although both put up a hell of a fight with successful Double-or-Nothings in our "Hymns for the Weekend" round.
The last prize of the evening went to our last place team, Patootle, who thoroughly impressed yours truly by maintaining a negative point score until the last two rounds. Good thing they know their geography!
Will Sticky Chicken Fingers resurface next week for a rematch? Will Y'all Motherfuckers Need Science run away with yet another W? Will late (but great) entry The Proud Family surprise everyone with a killer Round 1? There's only one way to find out: come join the fun at Marco Polo Bar + Grill next Tuesday at 8. It was an eventful night at Marco Polo Bar & Grill this Tuesday, with a rapidly shifting leaderboard, a surprise thunderstorm, lots of delicious-looking chicken, and a special karaoke set by one third of the night's winning team, Azur. Best rendition of Forever in Blue Jeans since that 2001 Will Ferrell Gap commercial? This Quizmaster sure thinks so.
Our winning team overcame a rocky start thanks to a big bet on a Double or Nothing, which didn't work out quite so well for veteran teams and early favorites Y'all Motherfuckers Need Science and Vaxxed not Waxxed, with the latter taking home a $15 gift card for their triumphant last place finish.
Pro tip: if anyone asks you if the Notre Dame Basilica is in Paris, it just might be a trick question.
