SURVEY SLAM RECAP

Hello everyone. Avi Forstein, the "Jewish Ham of West Michigan", here. Hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas and Chanukah.

Thankfully, a whole lot of people survived the Blizzardgedeon that hit West Michigan over the past few days. Now let's see if we will survive the Mega Melt that is coming throughout the week.

10 teams came out tonight to try their hand at the Survey Slam!

There was a Top 5 question tonight where we asked people to name a restaurant that has a bad reputation but the food ain't bad. The good guesses to correct answer was 5:1. Most guesses were ones I expected to see on the Top 5, but were not included.

My wife and I have been in a relationship for 16 years. She knows that my father was born and raised in New York City. A lot of his personality rubbed off on me. Several of his opinions rubbed off onto me. So you would think that my wife knows that if a bagel already has cream cheese on it, the only thing it is missing is Lox. Sadly, she did not remember this. We are in talks to get divorced. #SarcasmDetectorExplodes

The Theater Geeks blasted to the top after the last two questions and won 1st Place tonight. Jay Crushers walked away with 2nd Place.

All I Want For Christmas is You Only Live Once

Happy holidays to all of you King Trivia players! Avi Forstein, the "Jewish Ham" of West Michigan, here with another recap of the Survey Slam.

Six teams played for an awesome top prize of a $40 gift certificate to Michigan Moonshine! That kind of prize would be hard for Santa to match.

Is an ape a monkey? This is brought up because a question was asked a movie with a monkey and the top answer has an ape in it...not necesarily a monkey. Thankfully, as I've said before, we are looking for the Top Answer...not the right answer.

Super weenie hut jrs won the top prize after the last question of the night. They were close with Roo Two all night and J n J was switching in and out of 1st place all night. A couple of other teams came in halfway during the quiz and gave it their best shot.

If you need a break from family or you need something to do to get the kids out of the house next week, come out to Survey Slam. We are family-friendly and families playing together have plenty of fun.

DECK THE KIDS IN THE HALLS

Hello everyone. Avi Forstein, "The Jewish Ham of West Michigan", here. Another fun night at Michigan Moonshine with the Survey Slam. We had four teams and three close scores.

While several people argued about if Bugs Bunny was a rabbit (he is), there was no argument about Saturday Night Live not being on a list of TV shows that have been on for far too long.

One team said they'd like to have a beer with Jesus. That's not a bad answer...but for me, my answer is Jim Henson.

You're Arch Rival won the night with 66 points. The Theater Geeks were right on their tail with 63 points.

We'll be working through the holidays for the next few weeks, so please bring the family out to play. This is a family-freindly game, so even the kids could play along. See you all next week!
