QUIZ RECAP

Despite the rain that came down all day on Wednesday, we had 6 teams that braved the weather and came out to play. It was BJ's first night running the show and despite starting out a little rough, the night ended up a success. BJ pleased the rain gods and got the rain to stop so everyone could get home safely.

Christine Says Holla! dominated the evening in both the Drinking Round and with 51 points in regular play. Periodic Table Elements finished 2nd with 37 points. And at 3rd place with only a 1 point difference was False Claymes with 36 points.

Last night we learned that emo and country music lyrics are hard to differentiate. But when it comes to Johnny Cash's "Hurt", it could actually be both.

QUIZ RECAP

The day before Thanksgiving... That means it's a nice, cozy night with few interruptions. A new team played tonight, and we hope to see them soon.

Though the count was low, the competition was fierce. Cassidy joined us all the way from Fresno to play a couple rounds over some beer and pizza. Triple P walked away with second place prizes after scoring 31 points. With one teammate missing, False Claymes took their first win with 54 points.

Come out next week, and meet my fill-in. I'll be spending the day with my son on his birthday, but I'll be back the following week.

QUIZ RECAP

Today we said hello to a new Quizmistress Bethany, or DJ BJ. I'm so glad she was there, because she saved trivia, as I went downhill after round 4. There's a reason when I don't give people hugs, and it's to protect you all. But, DJ BJ rose to the occasion and knocked it out of the park with a packed house.

At the end of the night, False Claymes and Happy Cat Shoots Harps tied for second at 39, and Christine Says Holla took first with 41.

Come out next week as we prove that black holes are really just undeveloped film from pictures of the sun. Oh, and let's pack the house again.
