With a glowing full moon overhead and a storm rolling in fast, we turned up the tempo for a quick and competitive night of trivia at Moxy Omaha Downtown!

Four fierce teams braved the weather warning for a showdown of smarts. It was a nail-biter between Philly and Pat, Just Pat, neck-and-neck through every round. In the end, Philly pulled ahead in the final stretch, snagging the $50 gift certificate! Pat, Just Pat held strong, claiming a well-earned 2nd place and $25.

A late entry from Monsters shook up the scoreboard just enough for What Were We Thinking to snag the $10 second-to-last prize—sometimes timing is everything!

And of course, no Moxy trivia night is complete without a photo op with our ever-supportive mascot Max/Maxine, who posed like a pro with our winning teams.

QUIZ RECAP

It was a red, white, and brainy night at Moxy Omaha as four patriotic teams gathered to flex their trivia muscles on the eve of Independence Day! From New York to Kansas City to Oklahoma and Colorado, guests brought the fireworks early with coast-to-coast competition and all-American energy.

💥 Agatha Quiztie lived up to the mystery master’s name, solving their way to 1st place with 32 points and securing the $50 tab credit.
⭐ KC Best proved their name was nearly spot-on, nabbing 2nd place with 19 points and the $25 prize.
🍔 Boomer Sooner repped Oklahoma pride with solid spirit and landed in 3rd with 9 points.
🎇 And shoutout to Team Kooly, who rounded out the leaderboard with enthusiasm that more than made up for their score!

We loved seeing new faces and friendly rivalries just before the big holiday—thanks to everyone who came out to play. Happy 4th of July from your Moxy Trivia crew! 🇺🇸

QUIZ RECAP

It was a full house with lots of late joiners and even more friendly competition! 

Chitown in the House came out swinging with a bold double-or-nothing in Round 1—and it paid off! They held their lead all night long and even snagged the drinking round win by naming the most ways to say “cheers” in other languages. Talk about world-class trivia chops! They also celebrated in style, posing with Moxy’s beloved mascot, Max/Maxine—the fluffiest and most supportive trivia fan around. 

Local legends Silly Geese weren’t about to let them have all the fun. They brought in family from out of town to round out their team, and that strategy secured them a strong second place finish. 

The Coles—really a one-man trivia force named Cole—clenched the second-to-last place prize and took home $10 for his solo efforts. Sometimes all you need is one brain and a dream!

Another spectacular night of strangers becoming teammates and teams becoming friends. We’ll see you next Tuesday for more brain-busting fun at Moxy Omaha Downtown!
