QUIZ RECAP

The Union was back to defend their title tonight and it was going well until the 6th round when they faltered a bit and Team Discovery Channel had a timely successful double down to surge in the lead.  But never fear... the Union are geographic savants and doubled down in round 7 to squeak out a 2nd consecutive win.  Congrats to Team Discovery Channel for a well fought game. 

QUIZ RECAP

Many lead changes and a tight contest tonight.  The Union, Funky Wagnalls and Marvelous Miss Mavis all held a lead at some point. St. John took a ONE point lead with a 10 point answer for round 4 and was tied with the Union after round 6.  However, the Union flexed their ASEAN knowledge in round 7 and pulled away for the win.

and for the beer round we celebrated the annual Gloucester cheese rolling contest by having a cheese rolling contest of our own. Through 2 rounds of epic rolls Smoky Actual executed a perfect long distance roll to win the beer round.

QUIZ RECAP

It was a back and forth night between Funky Wagnalls and the Trividiots.  Lead changes aplenty but in round 5 the funky Wagnalls took the lead for good and held on for the 2 point win. The Union fought hard all night after a tough start but just couldn't put some good rounds together. However, they did split the beer round win with the trividiots as they both came closest to guessing the world record for a frog jump (21' 5 3/4").
