Mudhook is slang for an anchor. The owner. Bryan Kaeser, comes from a Navy family and it’s very near and dear to his heart. Family comes first for Mudhook. If you come by, you’re part of it. Mudhook’s goal is to make you part of the family, give back to our community and expand the horizons of food and beverage in Duncanville.
We had an AWESOME turn out tonight! The most teams that I've had in my short time running trivia nights at Mudhook! Had lots of fun and The Salt Shakers came out on top after some fierce and very close competition throughout the game. Congrats as well to D2 Krewe and MudHookers who came in 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The Salt Shakers did not come to play tonight and kept a steady lead for most of the game, giving them first place in the end! DK2 Krewe also played really well and came in at second only 7 points behind. The night was fun and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Can't wait to see y'all back next week!

We had a really exciting game at Mudhook Bar & Kitchen in Duncanville last night. Hollywood, making their King Trivia debut, had a massive double during the handout round in which teams were tasked with matching movies with the decades that they were released. This 20 points helped to push them to victory.
The excitement didn't end there, though. At the end of the seventh round, there was a three-way tie for second place between The Mudhookers, The Salt Shakers, and DK2 Krewe. The tiebreak question was: How many stations are there in the New York subway system? The Mudhookers guess of 213 was closest to the answer of 472, so they took home second place. The DK2 Krewe walked away with third place after their guess of 120. Unfortunately for The Salt Shakers, they went home empty handed after a guess of 50.
