On this drizzly Nebraska spring evening, six spirited teams gathered to battle wits and kick off the countdown to Summer League 2025—and let’s just say, the competition is heating up!

Alternative Facts came out swinging, doubling down in Round 1 and never looking back. With a whopping 57 points, they dominated the night and took home first place. The battle for second was tight, but Sushi Grade Man Meat pulled ahead with 43 points, securing the runner-up spot and a place on the leaderboard.

The drinking round brought plenty of laughs, as Silly Geese (formerly Fire and Ice and Everything Nice) snagged the win by rattling off the most true rhymes for “spring” and “sprung.” Meanwhile, Sushi Grade Man Meat tried their best to convince us that any "-ing" word counts—but the rhyme judges respectfully disagreed.

What a night! After a nail-biting first five rounds, Alternative Facts pulled ahead and clinched the win with a strong finish. The Real Paddy, always a force to be reckoned with, took a well-earned second place with their signature consistency. Despite being short a few teammates, Fire and Ice and Everything Nice still brought the heat and held their own like champs. And shoutout to newcomers Jack2, who joined the fun for a round before switching gears to enjoy some well-deserved supper. Thanks to everyone who came out—Trivia Tuesday at Paddy McGown’s never disappoints!
