QUIZ RECAP

Despite going many times to the Packing House next door (a classic Anaheim fixture), this was my first time going into what was apparently the marmalade house next door to visit Pali Wine Co. And I had so much fun! The wine may have helped...

Either way, there were several regular teams present who were such a blast to play with! The evening got off to a quick start by the end of the second round with David vs. Goliath using a Double or Nothing to name all the officers from the big and silver screens. Sadly, I could not accept "The Simpsons cop" or "The Walking Dead guy" as answers from some of the other teams...

Not being very familiar with this particular celebrity myself, I was very impressed when Finer Things Club and In the "No" were able to identify Tiffany Haddish for 8 points apiece! The themed round for the both past and upcoming Lion King scored people a lot of points, but David vs. Goliath was still in the lead! Could anyone catch up?

Look! Up in the sky! Is it a bird? A plane? Nope, it's David vs. Goliath using another Double or Nothing in the superhero movie director round to increase their lead even more! And despite a good rally by both The Barrelers and In the "No" by correctly guessing nine out of ten most populous Asian countries (no one got Iran), the leaders stayed in the lead. Congratulations, David vs. Goliath and also to our runners up: Finer Things Club and The Barrelers!

Special shout out to our trio of ladies on the other side of the restaurant, Winos, for quickly (and safely!) throwing/sliding their pen over to me when they realized they'd miss out on an extra point. There's a first time for everything!
