Paradise On Broadway is a full bar and Restaurant in the heart of Long Beach. This unique establishment has been owned by Michael Barber for over ten years and has been a well known landmark establishment since the 1980's. It has been known by a variety of names such as “The Birds of Paradise,” “Paradise Café,” “Paradise Bar & Grill” and just simply “The Bird.” For over 30 years, Paradise has had many exciting changes, but still kept its quality food and service, along with its variety of live entertainment. Inside the newly remodeled interior space, you will find historical pieces of Old Long Beach, intertwined with modern chic style that only Paradise can provide. Examples of these pieces of history include the bar top which came from a Bank of America building from the 1920's. The Falcon located in the bar area was atop the flag pole at Cooper Arms in Long Beach. It's estimated weight is at 1000 pounds. Lastly, the front door was taken from Morey's Music Store located on Pine Street in Long Beach. That location was there for half a century.
