We all had another blast of an evening last night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland hills for King Trivia! Players answered questions ranging in topics from 60's terms to 2000's slang, non-cereal mascots and the brands they represent, "messy" TV shows, and celebrities from Danny DeVito to Zendaya! What a span!
For the Drinking Round, teams had to race! For National Potato Day yesterday, teams had to send up one member to play the game. The object of the game was to race around the bar with a potato balanced on a spoon. If the potato dropped on the ground, the player would have to stop, pick it back up and keep going. The team with the fastest time would win a round of shots for whomever was drinking on their team. With the fastest time of 10.78 seconds, team "I Was Going to Say That" won the Drinking Round! Awesome job!
And at the end of the night, two teams that had been locked in a head to head battle all night long, literally tied either since round 1 or at least close since round 1, both ended the night with the same score of 108 points. So, we had to have a tiebreaker question and the team closest to the correct answer would win the 1st place prize. Coming in first with 109 points after the tie breaker question, was team Headscratchers! They were locked in a battle with Trader Joes Hoes who scored 108 points after not getting the closest to the correct tie breaker answer. Headscratchers took home the $25 gift certificate 1st place prize, and Trader Joes Hoes got the $15 gift certificate for 2nd place. Coming in 3rd place after scoring 106 points, which, on any other night would be a winning score, took home the $10 gift certificate! Great job to all teams and congrats to the ones that won some prizes!

Another blast of an evening at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night for King Trivia! Players answered questions about board games, Noah Kahan, languages, babes and politicians, black things, and animals from movie quotes! Wild!
For the Drinking Round, teams had to send up one player to compete in a game where they had to race to see who would be the fastest to blow up 3 balloons, tie them in a knot without them popping. The winners were Tears for Beers! They won themselves a round of shots for whomever was drinking on their team! Awesome!
Tears for Beers also came in 3rd place and won the $10 gift certificate! They scored 73 points! What an evening!
Coming in second after scoring 78 points, were the always tough to beat Trader Joe's Hoes! They won the $15 gift certificate! Amazing!
And the team that beat the TJH's was Hanky Panky! Another tough team to beat as well, but they scored 84 points and took home the $25 gift certificate! Great job!
