QUIZ RECAP

We had another great night of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! We had questions about languages English words originated from, Padma Lakshmi, pictures of different "Stone"s, Dominoes supreme pizza toppings, and Tonight Show hosts! What a hodgepodge!

For the Drinking Round, one member from each team had three darts that they had to try and get as close to the bullseye as possible, the catch? They had to do it with their non-dominant hand, which, for all contestants, was their left hand. Two teams were practically tied with each other, so team Seven Years of College Down the Drain, and team Gin and Chronic had to face off for a final round to decide the winner. Winning the Drinking Round and a round of shots for his team was Seven Years of College Down the Drain! What a throw! 

But that's not the only thing they won! They also scored 62 points for the night which was good enough to get them 3rd place and they took home the $5 gift certificate! What a night!

Just beating them out, scoring 63 points, was team Sub Club! They took home the $10 gift certificate! Excellent job!

And with a score of 69 points, winners of the $15 gift certificate, and champions of the night, team, You're Killing Me Smalls! Last week they were in last place and they jumped all the way up to first this week! What a swing!

QUIZ RECAP

We had a blast again at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia on Wednesday night! We answered questions about popular Vodkas, soccer terms, Travis Barker, David Bowie, the moon, and American TV shows adapted from British counterparts! It was a mixed bag for sure!

For the Drinking Round, teams sent up one player to go head to head against another team. This tournament style game made players "buzz-in" to try and identify the name of the song or artist that was an 8-bit video game style cover version of popular songs. In the end, team Frank and Jo are Late This Time won the round and shots for their team! What a win!

Coming in Third place by successfully doubling down in the 6th round, they knew their soccer terms, was team Serensippidy! They just edged out our winners of the Drinking Round by one point scoring 51 to take home the $10 gift certificate! Awesome sauce!

In Second place, scoring 55 points was LorazePam Anderson! They too jumped up ahead of teams later in the game and ended up taking home the $15 gift certificate! Way to go!

And then leading all night through, just like last week's winner, was team Quiztopher Walken! They were tied in the first round with another team after successfully doubling down, and then after that they couldn't be caught, well they could have, but they weren't. They scored 60 points and took home the $25 gift certificate! Superb!
