If there's one thing the patrons of Pineapple Hill Saloon are thankful for, it's Trivia!

15 teams with plenty of newcomers showed up this week for some home-again quizzing. The Kids' Table and Birthday Party Satan were hot out the gate with some General Knowledge doubles, but in round 2, the successful teams doubled! Double the double downs? We might have been on a trend, but Nixon led americans astray again in round 3 as an incorrect guess for Tricky Dick destroyed not one, but four teams' double dreams. Undeterred by tragedy, another four teams would attempt the 10 point clue in round 4, only to taste the bitter sting of defeat again! keeping the bracket shifting. With High scores and doubles flying left and right in the final three rounds, no one could guess how the points would shake out, but at the top of the heap turned out to be

The Kid's Table, We Got Nothing, and Tequila Mockingbirds in ascending order, with only a single point between second and first!

The world is shrouded in smoke, but trivia lovers were undeterred. Kid's Table and There's Always Next Week shifted into high gear early, doubling in round 1 for early leads. The Kid's Table repeated this in round 2 with Birthday Party Satan and Tequila Mockingbirds who doubled again in 3, but scored a setback with a -1 from a too-early guess in round 4.

Undeterred, Tequila would double twice more in the high-value later rounds, but would be matched by TANW, outpaced by the round 4 damage done, TANW would take an eight point lead to secure first place.

EVERYONE VOTED! and then they left the polls, civic duty done, hurrying to the greatest american pastime: KING TRIVIA!

"There's always next week" dominated the first round, scoring three times that of the closest competitor after a successful double-down, their usual rivals "Tequila Mockingbirds" suffered a zero from their double attempt, devastatingly repeated in round 2. Undeterred they scored double in round 3, leaping forward, but still trailing most. The excitement mounted as round, by round, Tequila Mockingbirds began a sprint to cover lost ground, and with two more high-value doubledowns were able to achieve second place, just ahead of newcomers (and a solo player team this week) "Quiz Quizstofferson"
