About Pioneer Square D&E

D&E is a family-run small neighborhood restaurant that is passionate about supporting the Pioneer Square community.

 

Husband and wife owners, Jonathan Fleming & Libby Aker are well ingrained in the Seattle restaurant industry with a combined 30 years of experience. They hail from some of the city’s best, well established restaurants. After living and working in Pioneer Square for several years, they fell in love with the sense of community, camaraderie and history that Seattle’s oldest neighborhood embodies. Opening D&E has been a lifelong goal of the couple, creating a welcoming neighborhood spot with an approachable menu and affordable pricing.

An intimate evening of trivia at Pioneer Square D & E with only 2 teams finishing our game. I would have expected that to have made for a laid back game, but I was mistaken with this rivalry that has been brewing for weeks.

The Gang(AKA My Boss is a Drunk), and Pretty Pretty Princesses have faced off a number of times at Pioneer Square D & E, and the competitive fire between these 2 teams resemble some of the greatest rivalries in history. Seahawks vs 49ers. Lakers vs Celtics. UT vs OU. Chocolate vs Vanilla.

The Gang stayed in contention all night but Pretty Pretty Princesses got a lead early and never relinquished it.

Will The Gang be able to overcome them next week in another bout of trivia heavyweights? Only time will tell.

Another Monday, another 8 pm, another great night for trivia at D&E!

 

We had three teams brave the gauntlet today, but there could only be one winner. This week, it was Pretty Pretty Princesses with 61 points, owing to a double or nothing success. And it wasn't even close, as Banana Montana, who came in second, had 37 points.

Thanks as always to the staff at D&E, and I hope to see some of you next week to do it again!
