QUIZ RECAP

I can't believe it's been a whole month of trivia here at Portuguese Bend Distillery! Tonight was also the raffle night that we do at the end of the month for one team to win a drink assortment provided by Portuguese Bend Distillery themselves. 

It was a close game up until round five. Team Shiny Smooth Brains had the lead up until team The Duke Silver Backing Band came up and ultimately took the game with their multiple double or nothing attempts. The Duke Silver Backing Band ended the game in first place with  a whopping 67 points! Second place goes to The Shiny Smooth Brains and they left with 48 points.

The raffle winner for the month of October went to The Shiny Smooth Brains. They won a lovely drink assortment. I hope they use it wisely!

QUIZ RECAP

Tis a chilly night here in Downtown Long Beach at the Portuguese Bend Distillery. We have seven groups here gathered tonight thirsty got trivia. It was nice to see some new faces and of course some familiar faces.

Portuguese Bend had their lively theme of Golden Girls with drinks inspired by the iconic show.

It was a close game tonight with our reigning champs defeated by one mere point. The Duke Silver Backing Band (43) was defeated by the The Crab Flap Daddies (44). It came down to the final round that ended up being the determining factor. In third, we have the Goose Kings with 41 points.

Let's see who will get that $50 gift card next week!

QUIZ RECAP

Here again with another fun found of trivia night with your favorite Quizmaster, working on her Masters, Alex at Portuguese Bend Distillery! We had a lovely audience tonight with some new faces, some old, and a child? 

With myself vaxxed, waxed, and ready to read some facts, I can say it was a close game tonight. We had team Shiny Smooth Brains leading for six out of the seven rounds until team The Duke Silver Backing Band took the 1st place spot with 58 points. Double or nothing really came in handy there folks. 

Also, a special shout-out to Greta and Andrew for celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary with us. They are part of team Mom and Dad!

It is always a fun time here at the Portuguese Bend Distillery and I hope to see more excited contenders for future trivia nights! Until next time.
