The hottest new rivalry is brewing in Playa del Rey, and another chapter in trivia history was written tonight at Prince O' Whales! Our teams were ready for a challenge tonight, and boy oh boy, did we give it to them! From famous DJs (both varieties), to non-fiction scribes, to the common thread between reggae legends and Civil War photographers, our brain busters were crafted to confound! But our wise warriors couldn't be cowed. Their skills stayed strong all the way to the final round, and A Tribe Called Quiz took the top spot in another close call, with Linguine claiming another 2nd place finish! Major props to newcomers GET SOME for an impressive 3rd place performance! Thanks to all our teams for making this one of my most memorable birthdays ever!

For such a fun and friendly bunch, our weekly competitors sure know how to keep the competition fierce! Round 1 resulted in 3 successful doubles, and a 3-way tie for the lead! No matter how many pinball tables, New Jersey rockers, and canine detectives we threw their way, the gap between the top 2 spots was never wider than one point. The word is spreading across the coast: King Trivia Night at Prince O’ Whales makes Monday the best night of the week! More new teams came out to take on our formidable veterans, and we gave their brains a workout! No matter how many Vice Presidents, John Wick co-stars, or movies that name-check foods they were asked to remember, they all rose to the challenge. In the end, there can only be one winner.
