Rooftop handcrafts its beers in small batches under the close personal attention of our brewers. Our highest priority is brewing high quality and consistent craft beer, with an eye towards innovative and unique beer recipes.
It was a big night for trivia at Rooftop as 7 teams battled it out for prizes!
The first round saw an interesting start as 2 teams missed on their double or nothing bids but the Happy Little Accidents were able to turn it around with a double or nothing score in the third round.
However, in round five, the Quizzly Bears were able to retake the lead with a double or nothing score getting 20 points! Team Raze the Bar could've also gotten double the points but decided to not pull the trigger and missed out on taking over second place.
For most of the night, team Billquizme was holding onto second to last place and going for the $5 prize. Round six changed that though as Corona Virus with Lyme Disease was able to come in from last to create a tie going into the final round.
With the Quizzly Bears holding onto a 6 point lead over the Happy Little Accidents the final round had a lot on the line. Corona Virus was able to get enough points to grab the second to last prize. Team Jorf Borzo's Giant Glass Balls got a zero on the round but had the most creative answers of the evening trying to guess British Royalty and Monty Python founders (the girl from Harry Potter was not the correct answer). They were able to win the drinking round though and get 2 free drinks for the evening.
In the end, the Happy Little Accidents got a perfect score but didn't go double or nothing and the Quizzly Bears were able to get 9 points and hold onto the lead! It was a great night and a bunch of fun so let's see what happens next week!

What an evening of trivia we had and a lesson on going for that double or nothing push!
The teams fought hard throughout the night with Sparklesaurus Rex, Happy Little Accidents, and the Quizzly Bears fighting for the top spot for a while. The Britz and Yankz had a secure spot on the second to last place prize for but things changed in the final few rounds.
Sparklesaurus Rex, had a great start scoring on their double or nothing and had to work to fight off the slow crawl of the teams behind them trying to take the lead (one point at a time)!
However, things got bleak in the 6th round as both the Britz and Yanks and the Happly Little Accidents failed to convert on their double or nothing. In the same round, both the Quizzly Bears and Sparklesaurus Rex could've doubled up if they had only checked the box! The results created a two way push for 1st and 2nd to last.
In the end, Sparklesauraus Rex was able to hold on while the Happy Little Accidents won second to last place on a controversial call from the quiz master (me) and the bartender (Rachel) as they decided to give them the prize for winning the tie breaker. The Britz and Yankz, thankfully did not riot and the building is still intact for next weeks trivia as the joyful tension rises!

Seven brilliant teams and five brilliant dogs played, laughed, barked, and battled it out at February 19th's Trivia Night at Rooftop Brewing.
Hosted by Lindsey, subbing in for Jordan (who everyone seemed to know was on a cruise), the night started strong with Do It For Hannah, Sparklesaurus Rex, and Quizzly Bears taking the lead positions.
A new team entered the game tonight, calling themselves The Stool Samples; their name based on their seating choice and delighting no one.
The Happy Little Accidents had a commanding presence throughout the game and their pups had a commanding presence in the heart of the host. They ultimately came in 4th place. Penny and Tess each were awarded 10,000 points, however.
In the end, Sparklesaurus Rex reigned large, ferocious and sparkly, coming in first place with 55 points.
Very Special Mention to team Pizza People for having several (incorrect but hilarious) answers that made the whole venue laugh.
