Thank you to the Pandemic night warriors pub quiz participants who ventured out into the sparse traffic streets for a few hours of recess fun! We had three teams of experts who were so close in scores throughout the seven rounds. Thank you to Sammy's staff of Steph and McKenzie for their great customer service. I was so impressed by all the teams.

Wonder Woman Ann from Poland is a grad student in an MBA program at a nearby university who graduates this summer to go on to a east coast prestige law school this fall. The Church of Quizentology #23446 with their own impressive team stamp have a team member who goes online to work at 4am! Not to be outdone, the dynamic Dream Team (who arrived at the end of round one and still answered all the questions in the recap) had a team member going to work at a medical supply company at midnight. You are a Night Recess Responders for Pub Quiz Fun!

QUIZ RECAP

This was one of our most exciting games yet! Despite the the rain and fending off the notorious Coronavirus, many veterans and newcomers still made their way to Sammy's for an incredible night of fun trivia, and it was just the fun night we all needed!

"Short Stack Sucks!" took home the victory this evening with 57 points (and hats off to them for doubling down in Round 5 - it paid off!). In second place, we had newcomer, "GCD", finish this night with 34 points, with the Connection Round (round 6), being their strongest round. Finally, in third place, "Rum Forrest Rum" finished with 20 points (and they killed the picture round - getting 6 out of 8 correct!)

Though they did not place in our top 3, a special shout out to "Jamaican Me Crazy" who played without a team, and still managed to accrue 17 points! Awesome!

Once again, this was an especially fun evening, and I thank you so much for coming out. It has been a tough week for so many, and I am thankful that so many still chose to come out to Trivia Night at Sammy's. You made my week!

QUIZ RECAP

This was a tight game! Two veteran teams - Short Stack Sucks! and Coronavirus 1, James Bond 0 were pretty close for most of the game. Though Coronavirus 1, James Bond 0 started off a little behind, they quickly caught up by being confident and choosing to do Double or Nothing; and it paid off! In the last three rounds, Short Stack Sucks! also played Double of Nothing, but unfortunately fell short by once answer in the last round. In the end, Coronavirus 1, James Bond 0 came in victorious with 60 points, followed by Short Stack Sucks! at 37 points. Newcomers, Awesome Possum, came in 3rd place with 35 points. A shoutout to our other teams as well for holding it down with a tight race to the end - all within 10 points of each other. Thanks for another great night at Sammy's!
