About Schilling Cider House

Seattle's only 100% craft cider tap house, with 8 dedicated Schilling cider taps, 24 rotating taps, 2 of which are on Nitro. We feature predominately PacNW ciders, but frequently have craft ciders from England, France, Spain and of course the rest of the USA. We specialize in "you call it" flights of 6 ciders, but have 10oz and pint pours of course!

We have zero corkage on bottles and are the perfect place to get a growler fill of your favorite cider below 7% ABV. We don't have food, but you can bring in whatever food you like to pair with your cider and we host monthly potlucks.

Free Wi-Fi and games are available, so pull a stool up to our big shared tables and make a new friend!

Schilling Cider House was packed with trivia fans on Monday night for one of the last trivia rounds of 2019. In the end, Team Menace to Sobriety came in first and Team Gaymsters won the tie-breaker question to take second place. Team Sharon Stone's Bumble Account took third.

We all discovered that more people know college bowl game names than where those games are played. Thank goodness for GPS and Google.

As we congratulated each other for a match well played, everyone resolved to be more trivial and to drink more cider in 2020.

The holiday trifecta of Trivia, Cider and HAIKU was achieved this fine wintery evening at Schilling Cider House in Fremont. Points were scored, gambles were won (and lost) and everyone agreed it was a trivia night like none before. It sure beat shopping and baking.

Now that we know what one uses to light the candles on a menorah and who nips our nose in winter, can we pause and reflect that WE HAD AN ENTIRE ROUND OF CLUES DELIVERED IN HAIKU. This Quiz Master was quite moved by the standing ovation and is now accepting calls from theatrical agents.

One team was disappointed that Jesus did not appear in "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" (no points) and another managed to spell all the reindeer as if someone said their names while intoxicated (many points).

Holiday joy felt upon Advent Adventures who took an early lead and kept it, followed by Herbs and Spices who came in second. Let's do it again next week! Maybe we'll have clues in the form of limericks. Or not.

Schilling Cider House was hopping on Monday night and the teams made the Quiz Master so proud by being good sports and all smiles, even when the "Guess Where?" answer did not turn out to be the Kremlin or Bonn or "that Russian Place". (Only two teams earned points that round).

Double or Nothings were the theme of the night. Touched by an Uncle and 20/20 Vision both successfully doubled twice, and Jigglypuff Puff Pass joined those teams when they all successfully doubled in Round 3.

That tICKLEd me.

What also tickled me was a member of Touched by an Angel who multi-tasked all evening by working on a traditional cross-stitch crafting project -- of a dumpster fire (see photo). Quiz Masters love presents. Just saying.

Jigglypuff Puff Pass went double in the final round and would have won the game if only they'd had ten correct answers. Sadly for them, Miami and Boston were not correct. Airports at the holidays can cause so much stress, am I right?

At the end, it was 20/20 Vision in First Place by 5 points.
