The inaugural King Trivia Tuesday at Seaward Brewing was the best damn thing going on in Ventura! A crowded room with 6 teams, around 30 players, great beer, and tacos. Yes, that’s right, they gave us tacos too.
There were a few seasoned teams who are regulars to other games as well as some newbies to trivia, but all were veterans of having a good time. Throughout the night, team “Not So Smart” showed their team name was a fake, as they lead most of the night. But taking advantage of the double or nothings in late rounds, team “Menace to Sobriety” proved a menace to the other trivia teams. And sobriety. Menace to Sobriety came out the victor with 71 points compared to 51 for Not So Smart.
It was a great time - hope to see more of these faces plus new ones each Tuedsay at Seaward Brewing!
