Co-Founder and Brewmaster of Smog City Brewing Co., Porter is an award-winning brewer with over 13 years of professional brewing experience. His technical skill and pursuit of exceptionally balanced and creatively inspired beer help make Smog City Brewing an industry leader in the Los Angeles craft beer community. 

Porter combines his knowledge of beer styles and passion for great food and drink to create solid examples of classic styles as well as experimental beers. 

He believes that "anyone who says they don't like beer just hasn't had the right one yet."

Another great week at Smog City West! Reigning champs We're Not Here to Make Friends had to fight for their win this week after a couple unsuccessful doubles, but did end up taking first place. Newcomers Pile People left the night with a solid second place!

Reigning champs We're Not Here To Make Friends took the win again this evening with a whopping 69 points (nice)! Fighting in a race for 2nd was Trivia-ing from Bed, GGEZPZ and Mediocre Omens. The scores were tight but Trivia-ing from Bed took second place!

Great to be back at Smog City after the holidays! We had another wonderful game with a lot of regular faces. We're not Here to Make Friends won the game again after starting off with three successful doubles! Mediocre Omens gave them a run for their money though by catching up in the last round and closing the gap to a mere 3 points!
