QUIZ RECAP

Another successful night of trivia. Our teams had a lot of fun tonight and some players appreciated the mental challenge. All of the teams were jovial and great to be around. Also, the Society of Salacious Individuals will remain one of my favorite team names I have ever seen. It's such a great combination of words that comes together for a fantastic name. The Thundercars had a rocky start in the game, but towards the end, they made a huge comeback. Between their knowledge of 90s rock and history, they were able to pull through, even though Those Girls won out in the end.

It was fun to see the bartenders get in on the game too. They found some of the questions as interesting as the players did, and were listening as intently as they were to the clues. One of them even figured out who the person was in the Guess Who round by the second clue. Of course, they didn't reveal any answers, but it was great to see them enjoying the game just as much as the teams did playing it and I did hosting it.

My first night out was definitely interesting. Once the game got going, we all had a great time. From players to employees, everyone involved was very patient and a lot of fun to be around. One of the workers, Perry, was a really nice person, and I think he and the players took a liking to me as a Quizmaster. The questions themselves were really interesting, with The Guess Who round being the best one out of all of them. Team Wings and Drinks were even able to guess who the person was on the first clue, which is no easy feat. All teams involved got to show off their knowledge in a variety of fields, from history to music to pop culture old and new.

The venue was very accommodating when it came to presenting the game. Perry was a gracious host, showing a level of understanding and professionalism I've come to greatly appreciate. The players were all friendly and enjoyed the energy I brought. Even though the Pioneers held a big lead, everyone took it in great fun and things remained friendly between contestants. I would love to host a game for them again, hopefully with a few friends they've decided to bring along.
