Had a great time subbing at the Blind Donkey. Such a great venue and a wonderful welcome! We had a great game with A For Effort puling off a heroic victory! They were the only team to successfully double or nothing in the final round to tie for first place, then they won the tiebreaker to secure first place! Madge's Smoky Cove got second with Wannabe Vegans getting third!

Another great night of KingTrivia in the books. I had the honor of subbing at The Blind Donkey in Long Beach and wound up with a very competitive group.
Started out will 11 strong and finished with 9 teams. Round 1 saw a very strong start with 5 teams getting all 6 correct and team C1P doubling and nailing it! It really was fun cause 7 of the 9 teams were really battling and staying within 10 points of each other. After Round 5, Beer Never Broke My Heart had the lead with 41 and everyone else within striking distance. Round 6 saw 3 teams double correctly with Beer Never Broke My Heart getting a strong 8. It was anyone's game going into the final round and it proved to be a nail biter. I gave an extra point for being registered and an extra point for turning in the pens. 3 teams were registered and only Whomst House made the final 3. Sassy Molly and Beer Never Broke My Heart both doubled correctly and got the extra pint for the pen but in the end, BeerNever Broke My Heart prevailed with 68 and Sassy Molly so close with 66.
It was a bit dark and so my pictures came out very poorly and I apologize to the teams. For some reason I couldn't get the flash to work on my iPad so lesson learned, use the phone!
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had a good time. It was a pleasure hosting at The Blind Donkey and maybe we'll do it again someday.
