SURVEY SLAM RECAP

The Dudes' had 7 teams play Survey Slam tonight competing for first place. We all had a lot of fun! A few returning teams came back to play and some lucky folks who just happened to be at The Dudes' decided to jump in and try to guess the MOST popular (and in some cases the SECOND or THIRD most popular) answers from our survey at KingTrivia.com/SurveySlam!

Special shoutout to "The Oregonian" for stepping in by herself and grabbing fourth place! "The O'Briensons" put away their game of "Sorry," grabbed a Survey Slam answer sheet, pen, and played an excellent game as well. "Boos and Baes" had no idea what they were getting into when they came to The Dudes' to grab a beer but they ended up being one of our more competitive teams. "Crazy Banana Virus" not only won the Drinking Round but they were ahead of many of the teams throughout the whole game. But in our final Wager Round, they went big, betting the max amount of 10 points and ended up going home losing 10 points. But I'm proud of them for going out on that ledge. ...too bad they fell off of it and into the Survey Slam pit of Hell.

SURVEY SLAM RECAP

Survey Slam was SLAMMIN' at The Dudes' tonight. We had 5 teams compete to see who could guess the MOST popular answer (and in some cases, the second or third most popular answers. 😉 )

Special shoutout to a Survey Slam favorite, "Survey-Za" (pronounced "cervez-ah"), previously "Chinaloa" for winning the Drinking Round and keeping up with their score through MOST of the game. Unfortunately, they lost 7 points on the final wager round and did not place. But we still love you! :-*

"Team Kim" usually works behind the counter but when her shift was over, she decided to survey it up and did a great job the whole evening gaining 25 points! She almost had 35 but lost 10 points in the final wager round. I'm proud of her for taking that risk. 😀

I was excited to see that "The Expats" came back for another game because they love us and we love them! These Canadians proved they know aboot surveys and nabbed THIRD place!

"Shizam" not only came in SECOND place , their team kept growing throughout the evening. I documented the growth which you can check out in the pics below.

Coming in FIRST place like a boss was, "More Beer Please." They were in a three way tie with "Shizam" and "Survey-za" most of the night but finally broke out a head in round 5 and stayed in first place the rest of the game.

SURVEY SLAM RECAP

It's Friday the 13th and our Survey Slammers dismissed any superstition so they could compete for FIRST place. 6 teams guessed at what they thought would be the most popular and in some cases, the second or third most popular, answers from our survey at KingTrivia.com/SurveySlam

"The Peanut Free Table" had an impressive game but had an issue guessing the most popular month for a wedding since they were "too young" and hadn't been to many weddings. Special shoutout to "The Expats" for winning the Drinking Round with their superior sucking skills. And yes, we did have team, "Dunder Mifflin," join in the last couple of rounds ending with an impressive 20 points.

We had a couple of teams tie for first and third place. I pulled out the ole tie breaking question to settle the score. "Coloradicals" came in THIRD while "Boo Dog" came in SECOND. And our FIRST place winners were "Kawhi's Guys." Congrats to everyone for another evening of superior survey slamming. See yous next week!
