The Dudes’ Brewing Company is a Torrance-based craft brewery founded in 2013. The Dudes’ specialize in innovative approaches to classic beer styles designed to appeal to casual beer drinkers and craft beer fanatics alike. The Dudes’ current offerings include: Double Trunk Double IPA, CalifornIPA, Grandma’s Pecan English Style Brown, JuiceBox Series: Blood Orange Amber, JuiceBox Series: Peach Berliner Weisse, Bohemian Hopsody Session IPA, The WRug White Russian Imperial Stout, Kölschtal Eddy Blonde Ale, Surfrider American Pale Ale as well as other seasonal offerings.

When I printed last night's trivia questions before heading to The Dudes, I knew it was going to be a great night. It's great to have challenging some questions, but sometimes you've gotta throw the crowd a bone with some easier ones so the scores fly through the roof. And that's exactly what happened!

When I stepped foot into the bar before the game start, it was already a full house. The crowd only filled up more and we ended up with 14 teams and more than 50 competitors!

Aside from the great atmosphere in the room and the high scores, the best part of the night was when I learned that people actually read this recap! Yes, that's right -- special shoutout to Chris and Andrew! Loyal readers, loyal trivia competitors. Makes it all worth it!

WOW! What an epic night of King trivia at The Dudes in Santa Monica! 14 teams, over 50 people! I don't know if it was due to the Jeopardy GOAT tournament or what, but people were hungry for trivia on Thursday night! We had a great time and it was quite the throw-down. The double or nothings were making it rain and breaking hearts, with multiple teams using it (for better or worse!) It sure was fun filling in for Quizmaster Kim! Thank you for a raucous good time, Quizmaster Mike.

I have to say, this night's trivia was the best of 2020! 😉 That's right, we are back with King Trivia at The Dudes Brewing Co. in Santa Monica at the start of this new decade.

More than 40 players on eight teams joined us for exhilarating trivia on Thursday night. We tested the depths of our knowledge through seven rounds of questions.

Our contestants competed for new prizes in 2020 including some fabulous Dudes Brewing Co. merch! The top three teams won branded sunglasses, hats and stickers courtesy of our hosts.

In addition to the extensive beer selection on tap, did you know The Dudes has some great wines, too? See photo for reference!

I'll be off next week, but will be back on 1/16. We will surely have a fabulous sub on 1/9 so have fun with him/her and see you in two weeks. Till next time, friends!
