It was all elementary in round 7 this week, as the periodic table reared it's ugly head once more and the team of terminal-degree trivia professors from SJSU had a huge advantage in acing the round and doubling, but Ask My Balls did just enough to hang onto first place. Also, a lot of people forgot the existence of Tin. Congrats to the Bronco Buddies, who ascend to the podium for the first time this week, taking third after a few weeks just out of the race for the hardware.

Unfortunately, some did indeed break, and while it wasn't a super-high scoring round of trivia, it sure was fun. It was a magnificent seven-way shootout for trivia glory at the Fountainhead last night, with plenty of returning teams having tweaked their makeup and strategy for maximum efficiency. Ask My Balls made a beautiful recovery after a blown double-or-nothing to just barely steal second from the Drs Are In, while Automating America went big, adding a few more players to the usual squad and winning through group effort. New team Blonde Boys joined late but reeled off a few near-perfect rounds, while Too Stoned Last Week might have been a little too stoned this week as well, although they seemed to be largely giggly and hungry about it.
