Here at king trivia, we believe there is no better way to unwind after a long day than arguing with one's friends about whose educated guess has the best chance of being the right answer to an abstract question (that not even I would know the answers to without a cheat sheet). Because of this we are so grateful that many of our regular players as well as some trivia newbies decided to spend their Tuesday night with us. The game ended with team "Ask my Balls" (one of our regulars) taking 1st place with a score of 56 points. That being said, there were many points through out this game where anyone could have taken the lead, but team 'Ask my Balls" managed to stay sharp and bring home the win.

A lean crew out for trivia tonight, but increasingly tense rounds as leads changed, double-or-nothings were used, and in the end the it all came down to a single point. The Black Mambas unfortunately believed their namesake had won more than a single MVP award, but they smartly didn't answer a "Guess Where" question and spared themselves from losing a point, and their lead. That type of strategy is rare, and rarely used by teams that don't put in the veteran work of showing up every week. Hats off to the Black Mambas for a stellar finish!

A sultry Tuesday evening brought with it electrifying trivia. Teams went all-in on the double-or-nothing rounds, after strong showings from a powerhouse Ask My Balls in round 3, teams started deploying their own double-or-nothings to varying degrees of success. The top tree teams kept it competitive, with differences coming down to who felt more confident about their answers to risk it all, while the bottom three teams were maybe a little too confident in their answers, getting the goose-egg on a few rounds. Gone are the days where just answering the questions correctly places a team at the top of the table; if you want to win at Fountainhead, you've got to bring nerves of steel, too!
