Diggin' for Gold

 

Packed house at The Nickel Mine. We had so many teams start out but only a few were able to last the whole way through. In the early rounds we had a four way tie between Snake Pliskin, Alright Alright Alright, Egg Mclovin, and Your Mom is Don Mitchell. All the way until round 4 where it was only left between Egg Mclovin and Your Mom is Don Mitchell. But Egg Mclovin ended up doubling their way to first place.

Tight race between We Are Lebronto Mitchell and Leti's Players Won for 2nd; they were neck and neck the whole time! A League of Their Owen Wilson took an early lead in round 1 and kept it for all 6 rounds! Round 3 was a real doozy, while round 6 (traffic cities) brought most scores way up! A member of Leti's Players Won was interested in being a quizmaster, so I directed him to the website! Another fun silent trivia night!

Game went well!! Had many requests for non-silent trivia. Had to slow down a bit when some teams were turning in their 3rd round around 8:30! But then I got the pacing figured out and all was well! It was a tight race for a while, but "If Dan Mitchell Hears You Then He Hunts You" couldn't be beat because they were acing every round! Best Team Name goes to Kellyanne Kanye because duh! Had some newcomers who say they're excited for the upcoming weeks!
