QUIZ RECAP

A whole slew of usual players split up to compete against each other and new-comers, Quaran-Team. The first round proved everyone was ready to play, but the picture round with images of Sesame Street muppets proved to be challenging. Everyone was back to fighting shape for round 3, including two teams who doubled successfully.

Not a single team could identify the mystery person for round 4, but many players made a comeback in round 5. During the Boy Ballads worksheet teams competed in a Heads or Tails drinking round game.

Once the dancing party began, we knew this was a night to remember!

QUIZ RECAP

A lively and celebratory evening took place at The Oaks Tavern's Sunday trivia night as Quizmaster Yael invited everyone playing trivia to participate in her birthday festivities. For every Happy Birthday she heard, players were gifted a bite-sized candy bar.

As the game began, each team started off strong, aside from Retirement Home who doubled their first Round only to miss one question resulting in a zero. Momentum for everyone kept up until Round 3 where half the teams teams tried to double, but were mistaken on a Diet Dr. Pepper vs Doctor Pepper 10 matter. After Round 4 it was anyone's game but Gazpacho and Awesome Sauced competed admirably resulting in a near tie. Newcomers Jalape?o Business came in third place behind the regular rivals.

For the Drinking Round teams were invited to send a representative for a game of Musical Chairs in Birthday hats!

Next week trivia returns to regular, non-birthday, shenanigans!

QUIZ RECAP

It was an intimate group as four team played during Quizmaster Yael's first time at The Oaks Tavern.

The quad of teams fought hard throughout, everyone struggling with the Sportscaster picture round. Awesome Sauced kept their lead, doubling twice but ultimately lost the drinking round to The Big Fact Hunt who knew 4/5 Lizzo song titles.

In the end, Awesome Sauced flew into first place with a large lead over The Big Fact Hunt in second.

Everyone is looking forward to celebrating Quizmaster Yael's birthday next Sunday at The Oaks Tavern!
