QUIZ RECAP

Wow. We almost had a record showing tonight. We had 10 teams start the battle and all ten teams finished the battle. What an excellent night. Did I mention all the great food and drinks that were being served.

Although we had 10 teams there was no doubt who was going to win from the early stages. We will just congratulate Older Budweiser now on a dominating night, winning by 31 points.

Who was going to come in second and third? After 3 rounds there was a 5 way tie for second between, The M's, The New Locals, Key West, Audi Here and Axolotl.

Round 4 was a tough won with only 5 teams guessing Mt Fuji correctly. Kilimanjaro was the popular guess.

After round five Diamonds held a 3 point total over third place and a 5 point total over fourth place. Could they hold on?

The M's started to make their move in round five and continued strong in round six scoring a perfect score but played the conservative route. They still trailed by a couple points.

After it was all said an done. Older Budweiser had lapped the field. The Diamonds and The New Locals were tied for second and had submitted their tie breaker question answers. Then the Quiz Master started reading off the scores and realized that The New Locals had actually come in fourth place. So The M's now got their shot at the tie breaker question. 89 days between the birth of twins, I feel sorry for the poor mother. With that said, The M's edged out The Diamonds for second(The New Locals would have won the tie breaker)

I want to thank all the other teams that weren't mentioned for coming out to play and making this a great experience every Wednesday.

I am leaving the game in CJ's more than capable hands nest week. I will see everybody in the first week in September.

QUIZ RECAP

The Buzz: Is anybody going to be able to take down the reigning champs, Older Budweiser? Let's find out.

After 2 rounds The New Locals held a 1 point lead over Older Budweiser.

After the 4th round the top three teams were separated by one point with the rest of the pack 5 points behind but still in the game.

The sixth round was a high scoring round with the low points being 9. The last place team Buster made a huge jump with a successful double.

Going into the last round, the game was open to anybody. As usual, Older Budweiser came out on top, Party Llama's tied with The New Locals and then beat them in the tie breaker. Congratulations to the M's for being the only team to name all the Justice League. Who is "Martian Manhunter" was what everybody was asking.

Thanks to everybody who keeps coming out to support this weekly event. Everybody is having a great time. I will see everybody next week.

QUIZ RECAP

Another great night of trivia at The Paddle Pub tonight. The sun was out and the drinks were flowing. We had 6 teams start the night and finished with 7 teams.

The New Local's jumped out to a quick lead when they double in the second round. In the fourth round the top three teams were distancing themselves. Party Llama's scored high in the guess who round with their knowledge about Jack Skellington.

The New Local's continued to lead until the veteran team of Older Budweiser doubled down in round six to take the lead.

The last round proved one thing. Nobody at the Paddle Pub watches comedies on TV. The high score on the round was 1 with many teams getting zero points.

In the end Older Budweiser took home the trophy. The New Local's were a strong second and the Party Llama's took third.

I want to thank all the other teams for coming out to play. We are getting a good and fun crowd each Wednesday night. I hope to see everybody and their friends next week.
