QUIZ RECAP

9 teams competed during another fun filled evening of King Trivia at Thunderbird! Questions were being asked and answered, $8 Moscow mules and margaritas were being poured and drank, and wheels were turning in heads throughout the whole game. Shoutout to "Gus's G-Unit," "Scoops Ahoy," and "Vandelay Industries" for playing a solid game and racking up the trivia points. But in the end, "3 Smart Chicas" grabbed THIRD place with 48 points. "Glasses Gang" answered their way to SECOND place with 57 points. While FIRST place was won by one of our favorite returning teams, "One Small Step for Dan." Doubling or nothing on some of their rounds proved extremely fruitful because "One Small Step for Dan" blew the competition outta the water with an incredible 83 points! Looking forward to next week when wits are battled again to see who is the most smartest!!

We had an incredible matchup of wits at Thunderbird this evening with 14 teams putting their noggins together competing for that coveted first place! First, I really want to say that this evening was filled with some of the most "creative" team names. Big shout out to "Delta Force Micropenis," Trivia? I Hardly Know Her," and my favorite, "I Want A Baby." All the teams answered many of the questions correctly with even a few of em DOUBLING on some of the rounds. But in the end there can ONLY be three top winners. In third place with 82 points, "Tedious Jellyfish," who I wanna give a special thanks for keeping me honest and reminding me how to add. 😉 "Koffsox" knocked many of the rounds outta the park coming in second with 88 points. One of our favorite returning teams, "Dan Mitchell Puts The Joke in Djokovic," just squeaked by with 89 points landing them in FIRST place.

We kicked off Sunday evening trivia at Thunderbird as soon as the Gold Cup match between the US and Mexico went scoreless into halftime, but there was plenty of scoring to be had among the eleven teams that competed on Sunday night... and some points earned by answering trivia questions, too... HEY-O!

Successful double or nothings kicked off the match from Dan Mitchell Boothless, Between Two Robs, and Rejected by Irish Brides (when I asked about the team name, they said it was a long story... I'm going to guess there once were some lasses from Derry, who were giggling o'er glasses of sherry, when approached by these lads, interminable cads, dismissed their most salacious query!)

RbIB struck again with a second successful double or nothing in Round 2, as did White Sugar, pulling into second place. But Irish eyes were NOT smiling on their third attempt to drink from the double or nothing fountain, and they drifted behind Dan Mitchell Boothless. Boothless was ruthless through the rest of the game, maintaining the lead for the rest of the match, with Brides taking second, and Movers and Shakers shaking their way into third place.
