QUIZ RECAP

King Trivia was back at Thunderbird with 16 teams battling their wits to see who would go home the MOST smartest.
We had an extremely competitive game with some old and new teams. It was a ton of fun!

"Cardinal Rosenberg," played an incredible game, as always, and missed placing by just ONE point. So I'm giving them a special shoutout... which I just did before this sentence.

More special shoutouts to "The Sanderson Sisters" for not being sisters and almost placing and "The Participation Trophies" for ALMOST winning the Drinking Round with their drawing of a very scary costume: student debt!
"Show Me Your Kitties," a TB fave came out to play with a wonderful new cat shirt which you must check out in the picture section of this recap. "Truffle Butter" were great sports answering many of the questions throughout the game and won the Drinking Round!!

"Joey Triviani" played a great game as well but unfortunately they didn't place. Neither did "Wild Hogs" but they DID crush it when they correctly guessed the "who" right away gaining the most amount of points on the Guess Who Round!

My favorite chicas came back to play and "3 Smart Chicas & Ricky" went home in THIRD place!!

Another TB reg and some of my favorite trivia fellas came back with a NEW name, "The Joker is Overrated," and they played with their usual intense intelligence grabbing SECOND place.

FIRST place went to one of the most cleverly current team names of the night, "We're on the Ukrainian Gas Board."

QUIZ RECAP

King Trivia vs Dodger Baseball was what was happening at Thunderbird tonight. The Dodgers are in the playoffs with lots of fans checking them out on Thunderbirds' many big screen tv's and Thunderbird ALSO has a strong trivia following. So we decided to do BOTH at the same time. And unlike Congress, we were able to do two things at once. 😉

15 teams competed to see who would go home the MOST smartest. And I have to say, all the teams were incredibly delightful as they cheered for the Dodgers and answered some q's.

Shoutouts to "Dodger Broads" for jumping in to play while they watched the big game above my head, "Werewolf's Bar Mitzvah," for giving me the chance to say that name and winning the Survey Slam Drinking Round, "The Sunday Sabis" for scoring 10 points on 2 rounds, one of them being the highest score on the "Guess Who" Round, "Sweet Tea" for being...well, sweet, and for one of my favorite teams, "3 Smart Chicas and Peter" for placing FOURTH and being cool when I accidentally blue-balled them telling them they were third...first.

"We Came to Play Trivia" solidly scored their way to THIRD place. "Thomas and the Jeffersons" knocked round and round outta the trivia park all night nabbing SECOND. And coming in FIRST was a Thunderbird King Trivia INSTITUTION, "Dan Mitchell's Giant Dodger Dog."

QUIZ RECAP

13 LUCKY teams showed up to match their wits during this week's epic battle of King Trivia at Thunderbird. I could not be proud of all the teams for playing with heart, class, and most of all, liquor.

Shoutout to "Satan's Dragon" for coming back strong in round 5. I'd also like to commend a returning favorite, "2 Smart Chicas," for giving the teams that placed a run for their money the whole evening.

"Two Birds and a Buckeye" had no idea trivia was up in da house but jumped right in and played a great game.

I was also impressed with yet another returning favorite, "Bangarang," they sat near me and kept me laughing the whole night. They played a great game but unfortunately not great enough to place. Better luck next week, Bang! 😉

THIRD place was achieved by Thunderbird's beloved, "Cardinal Rosenberg."

"A Team Has No Name" came in SECOND place proving that labels are a man-made construct meant to keep us pinned down...

...sorry, got on a soapbox there for a minute....

AND the MOST smartest team of the evening, placing FIRST place was "Dan Mitchell and The Pacellis." Dan and his friends win almost every week and this weeks they added the series I wrote, directed, and produced a few years back to their name.*
