QUIZ RECAP

The winner this week is We Have a Smart Guy This Week, who bring in a ringer to help crown the team king.  Wamba Bar was moving in on their lead, narrowing the gap between them and a team who couldn't believe what was happening, because, fast as lightning, Wamba Bar was coming closer to grabbing that golden ring.

But We Have a Smart Guy started to sing when they heard Stacy make the "Last Call" bell go "DING," signifying that soon all the gringos would be leaving.

Wamba Bar had to go too far, as We Have a Smart Guy was crowned tonight's czar.  Wamba came in second, which, for this course, was par, so they shook hands with the winners before leaving the bar, cursing under their breath as they jumped in their car, then drove to the airport to fly to Qatar.

QUIZ RECAP

Wow!  What a night!  What a game! Drunken Duo pull off a 3 pt. win, there was a tie for second place, AND there was a tie for LAST place, so we had to flip a Sacagawea dollar coin to see would get first dibs on one of the last place prizes, tonight a choice between a Monster energy drink, a piece of coax cable, a spork, and a Sacagawea dollar coin.

Just Us Guys called tails, it came up heads, Plutos had won the flip, causing Just Us Guys to groan, knowing they would surely not get the coin they thought they deserved for flaming out on the game the way they did.  But much to everyones amazement, Plutos chose the coax cable!  We were all shocked and bewildered.  Especially stunned was Just Us Guys, who quickly grabbed the coin in case Plutos changed their mind(s?). Feeling all good about myself because this had all worked out so well, I decided to give Plutos the Monster energy drink, which they reluctantly accepted.  That left the spork.  I handed it to Just Us Guys without uttering a sound.  They kind of chuckled amongst themselves, then graciously received the half-fork, half-spoon thing I got at El Pollo Loco.

Anyway, I had fun.  I guess everyone else did, too, but I don't look at it that way.  No one player is bigger than the game, and as long as the integrity of the game has been secured, I know I've done my job.

QUIZ RECAP

What a game!  Another one point victory, this time for G.I. Jose, who inches out 2 Talls and a Small for the big prize.  Civil Swervants win the last place prize, four fun sized Snickers, minus the two that someone stole.  Other consolation prizes included a bar of soap, a small Monster energy drink, a bottle of Axe body wash, a spork, and one of those little plastic dental floss things (unused).
