We’re an American, casual-style sandwich spot, with focus on experimental approaches to traditional staples. Trencher, in Echo Park, is sandwiched between the lake of the same name and Dodger Stadium.

It was a beautiful day outside, and a beautiful day inside as we had a very competitive trivia match! Pencil Rodz and Brown Town Ballerz duked it out all night, but a late double or nothing helped propel Spring Breakers into third place!
I know the teams struggled with the picture round this week (not a lot of baseball fans) but I enjoyed everyone's hilarious answers. Spring Breakers guessed every player was Micky mantle, and guessing lions hoped and prayed Jack Sparrow played baseball.

Another great week of trivia here at Trencher! It rained a little bit, but it didn't dampen our fun.
Pencil Rodz returned and took the top spot again! Meanwhile 3 newcomer teams all kept it very close for 2nd and 3rd place. Ballerz for Bernie had pulled into second, but after a failed double or nothing, were never able to get back, and ended up in 3rd by a heartbreaking one point.
Thanks to everyone for coming out and writing a lot of answers that made me laugh hard. We truly have a very competitive and funny group of trivia players here at trencher every week.

We had a nice, intimate game this Thursday. Last week's second placers, Pencil Rodz were back and managed to come in third overall. They were taken down by Ballerz who managed a successful Double on round three where every answer ended in 'ing', putting them in an early first.
We also had Teamster of Won show up just in time for round 5 and almost managed to catch up to third place with a successful double on round six - connecting Football Clubs to their respective countries.
Overall we all had a great time and had some lovely chats during the downtime.
