We’re an American, casual-style sandwich spot, with focus on experimental approaches to traditional staples. Trencher, in Echo Park, is sandwiched between the lake of the same name and Dodger Stadium.
Another great week of Trivia at Trencher!
Holy Moly, we had 9 teams compete this week, and boy was it a close game. Played Yourself and Pencil Rodz were neck and neck all game, but Played yourself's knowledge of Disney lands helped put them ahead.
We also had to have a tie breaker for third place! Shout out to Try, Try Again for having a pretty close guess as to the circumference of the moon and stealing third place!
Shout out to Quizzy Maguire who came all the way from England and tried there best to compete in Trivia. Another shout out to my assistant Sean who helped grade and read the questions with me.

We had a small but enthusiastic crew at Trencher this week! Pencil Rodz took home top honors and a new team, We Are Them Boys, registered and played for the first time! Everyone cheered each other on, especially our punny team of Table for Won.

We had a great second week here at Trencher! Newcomer "Yoga Farts" came in hot with a few successful double or nothings and put last week's champ "Congratulation you've played yourself" in the rear view mirror.
Shout out for the return of team PENCIL RODZ who made themselves official by registering on Kingtrivia.com and locking up that 3rd place spot again.
There was some contention over the sponge bob square pants answer this week, but as far as I'm concerned he lives in an Ananas comosus under the sea and that is good enough for me!!!
