It was almost like two separate trivia games. We began with 6 teams, 5 of which were registered. The game got off to a decent start, with ok scores in round one and two, with "HLP", "Team Boognish" and 'Balloon Knots" leading the way, Then came rounds 3&4, and time stood still. Only "My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't" added more than 2 points to their score, and they only added 4. At the end of round 4, HLP led with just 15 points! After 6 rounds, it was only atiny bit better, with HLP and Team Boognish tied with 20. Then, in round 6, BAM! Team Boognish doubled on the matching round and exploded out to a 12 point lead over Balloon Knots and 13 over HLP. Team Boognish coasted home in round 7 for a decisive 10 point victory. HLP jumped over Balloon Knots for second place.

A great night at the Twin Foxes! We had a great showing with 5 registered teams (HLP, My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't, Chunky Monkey, Balloon Knots, and Bert & Ernie) and 2 newbies (Team Boognish and We Love The Beatles), and a close, competitive match throughout. Everyone got off to a decent start, then wham! Six perfect scores in round 2! Four of those teams doubled to separate themselves our teams into 2 groups. A normal round 3, then more wham! Two 10s and two 8s in round 4! Not expecting that! Now we had 5 teams within 5 points of each other, HLP, My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't, Team Boognish, Balloon Knots, and Bert & Ernie. After 6 rounds, there was still only 7 points separating these 5 teams, and just 3 points separating the top three going into the final round, with My Couch and HLP tied with 43, and newcomer Team Boognish with 40. In the final stretch, My Couch knew more World Series champions and pulled out the win.

First show of 2019! With just a week's notice, Twin Foxes brought back 5 teams to play trivia tonight. All 5 teams got off to a good start, only to bog down in round 2. In Round 3, HLP and Balloon Knots scored well but My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't doubled down to steal a few more points and separate themselves a bit from the pack, followed by a steady round 4 score to leave the 3 teams still fighting for places. Round 5 threw everyone for a loop, and left My Couch with a 2-point lead over HLP, with Balloon Knots a handful of points back. In round 6, the trams remained status quoted with nice scores. In round 7, Bert & Ernie made a huge comeback by knowing their Beatles albums, but fell a bit short and finished in 4th. Balloon Knots held on for 3rd place and My Couch kept their eyes on the prize, beating out HLP for top prize.
