QUIZ RECAP

It was a cold rainy evening outside, so a great night to be warm inside playing trivia at Upper Crust! We had 6 teams and 23 total players this evening, with a mix of regulars and new teams, and guest host Christy while Roman is out of town. In Round 1, we learned about camel beauty pageants, and Nick's Nuts blessed us all with a name change (trust me, it was for the best, lol). In Round 2, we learned about a few Disney rides none of us knew existed. In Round 3, we all tried to imagine Billy Crystal's voice as Buzz. Round 4 thankfully didn't Scrooge anyone's score, but shout out to team We're Back!!! for getting it correct at the 10 point level. In Round 5, sadly no one found the connection... At least, not until I'd read the 1st four relevant answer words, and then it clicked all at once for everyone, and we had Sir Mix-a-Lot in our brains going into Round 6, while we dueled over duos. In Round 7, there was a new, much cheesier song stuck in our brains as we tried to picture the poster. Thankfully, even teams who'd never heard of that movie and just guessed random actors still got a few correct, and with such guesses, 3 Gen Plus finally made the move from 4th place onto the podium and took 3rd place with 35 points! One point above them, As Cold as a Twitches Wit took 2nd with 36 points. Meanwhile, We're Back!!! came back with a vengeance, running away with an early lead and never looking back. The ended the night with 47 points. It was a fun crowd and I look forward to seeing you all next week!

We had a wonderful night here at Upper Crust Pizza and Pasta! With 4 teams competing, you could feel the tension in the air as each team raced to get their answers in. We kept a close game, with several ties throughout the early rounds. Our guess who round seemed to be the deciding factor on who took home the game, until our winning team came in with a perfect double or nothing round to put them in the lead for the rest of our game, but not with out our other teams putting up a fight. I can't wait to see what our trivia nights bring us in the new year!
