About Venice Whaler

The Venice Whaler has been an operating as a bar/restaurant since 1944 becoming a landmark location with an unmatched view of the California coastline. The Beatles, the Beach Boys, and the Doors have all enjoyed spending time at the Whaler. Come join us and be part of the story at this historic Venice location! 

Live entertainment ranging from karaoke to DJs to bands take place in the beach level bar, known as the Crab Shell Bar. As always, there is no cover and plenty of food/drinks to enjoy.

The premiere Trivia Night at the premier beach bar in Venice saw nine team battling for Smarts Supremacy.  75 dollars in bar tabs, two pitchers of beer, and a ultracomfy sweater were all given away as prizes. The three gentlemen of Rattlesnakes and Condoms won the inaugural contest by flexing their knowledge of European coastlines.  And we all learned that Soi Cowboy is a hotspot in Bangkok, not Houston.
