Oh, what a delightful night of fun and frivolity we had this week at Willmore Wine Bar in Long Beach! All of the usual suspects were there, from Nona to Toria, Larry to Marie! There they are, many of them, pictured right here on this page. Take a look at those photos. Take a loooooong look.
Do they remind you of anything, this rogues gallery that includes Shelley and Mark and Seema? Do those photos trigger thoughts of the "Most Wanted" posters on display at the post office? They should! This is a rough crowd! Competitive! Relentless!! And some of my favorite people on the planet.
Grace Under Fire took the night's honors with a top score of 73, while the Wilmore Wenches duked it out with Larry's a Pimp by way of a tiebreaker for second, after finishing with identical scores of 68.
In the tie-breaker, neither team really knew how many parking spaces there are in Disneyland's Mickey and Friends parking lot. I mean, who would know that? But Larry and Co. managed to eek out the win with a guess that was just one parking space closer to the correct 10,240 than the delightful, indefatigable Wenches! Incredible!
Special note to the Wenches: NO! You cannot earn half points for half-correct answers. Live with it!
And we must offer a special shout out to the one-man team calling himself Gatsby. He was flying solo, didn't join in until the game was half over, and still managed to score an impressive 37 points! So, I just gotta say it: You did GREAT, Gatsby!!
Thanks everyone! It was GREAT seeing you!
