About Wirtshaus

Wirtshaus is a traditional German restaurant and pub, specializing in authentic German food and freshly tapped beer since we opened in 2011.
Featuring over 35 German beers and a great selection of German and Austrian wines.

We are famous for regular events such as Oktoberfest, Sunday Brunch, Bavarian Night or hosting Soccer games.

Authenticity is the key for us at the Wirtshaus, and we strive to bring you the best in traditional German cuisine. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, potato pancakes, currywurst and of course, pretzels. It also includes vegetarian options and kid-friendly dishes.

The atmosphere at the Wirtshaus is fun, laid back. Come hang out and enjoy yourself on one of the long wooden tables inside, in the lush Biergarten outside, or by playing Around the World on our ping-pong table.

Wirtshaus is a place you can bring your kids, your date, your dog, even your grandmother. All are welcome, and all are encouraged to stay a while.

Hands down my favorite night of hosting trivia yet. Hand's down. Bar none.

Not just because my of my birthday, but a due to a bevy of delightfully ironic l, and totally unexpected, gifts that the universe provided.  
The best coincidence of all?!? We ended with a tie -BUT WAIT, there's more- TWO teams finished the night with (wait for it) SIXTY NINE points!?!? Our Never-Miss-a-Week players 'We're not contagious; we're dead' AND also the NEWEST team to find our li'l island of misfit toys and call it "home": 'Stage Hans'! WELL PLAYED, Fellas.

Seriously??? If I tried, I couldn't have planned it better myself!

As it was, a tiebreaker was needed to determine our winners

Now here's where it get really weird...

Team 'We Always Come From Behind' cleared Third place ($10) easily, but... check this out: Had they gone for 'Double or Nothing' on Round 7... they'd have ALSO ended with 69 points!!! So we almost had a "Three Way" "69" tie. 

Being my birthday and all, I jumped at the change to have the Awesome Ari take a photo - of ME (QuizMistress McCall) with all THREE incredible teams!!!! (Again, the photos!)

What a wonderful, spectacular, exciting, and FUN night! Whaddaya say we do it again... next week?!? Same place, same time. See you all then.
