About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Here I was thinking, "Oh, well no one is going to be here because of Coachella. No one is going to be here because of the NBA Playoffs. Poor me." And boy, was I wrong! The people showed up in droves on Monday at Hyperion Public to play some trivia. Fifteen teams in all competed until the very end, vying for that $25 gift card. In the end, it was Trash Dogs who took the gold. The real MVPs were the second place team though, Aunt Becky's Scholarship Fund. They had two doubles to go from the back of the pack right up to the front, so they very much earned their medal. And Oooh....chicken nuggets strutted their music knowledge and eked out a win for the drinking round. Cheers all around!
