How cosmic is it that National Batman Day should fall on a Tuesday?!? Tuesdays at 7:30pm is when Kilarney's Irish Pub holds its weekly King Trivia Pub Quiz! Imagine that! And this Quizmaster must say that the bat mask does indeed work, given that the contestants knew the actors, but they couldn't quite match them up to the batman pictured. Well, Tequila Mockingbird, did. They got them all in a Double-or-Nothing bid and won!

Speaking of Tequila Mockingbird, Kilarney's may need to invest in a sign for their table that reads, "Resident Champions". The TM's have been knocking them out of the park regularly and may have hit their peak with three, count 'em, THREE Double-or-Nothing wins last night! The first two were in rounds one and two and the third came in round five. Let's just say that TM trotted into the lead and stayed there for an astounding 79 point first place win!

Pain for the Poonswagglers, who Double-or-Nothing'd three times as well, but nose dived each time, finishing 6th out of seven places. Having been the high scorers previously, I think the Poonswagglers will have to do some strategy reassessment before next Tuesday.

The Divorcees came in second and newbie team Plan B took third place, with IFFY! following close behind, just brushing up against the winners circle, but always watching from the outside. (Sigh...) Newbies Casino Bound came in 5th, but had loads of fun doing it.

And one more first for this Quizmaster... All teams got the Guess Who on the first clue!
