The crowd at Kilarney's appears to be growing exponentially. Huge crowd, late comers, the whole nine yards.

Welcome to new teams Wossamotta-U, Rowdy Rhodies (as in Rhodesian Ridgebacks) and Valor of the Galaxy (who had to leave early... Something about defeating alien invaders to save the earth or something.)

Lawyers, Guns & Money dropped in to play a few rounds then popped off again. (Presumably to go negotiate a hostage rescue in Venezuela.) The IFFY!/Blood, Bath & Beyond alliance seems to have reached an amicable accord. When they play at Kilarney's they're IFFY and at the L&C on Thursdays they're the BBB. If and when they take over the world, they will be reasonable and even handed overlords, thus giving the media nothing to write about. I'll Google It! and the Poonswagglers brought their usual comraderie and enthusiasm to the fore while the Divorcees did what divorcees usually do... Conduct their business from the bar.

Some interesting weirdness cropped up during the festivities. Round Two was all about Witches... Which the Poonswagglers were able to get the most correct answers to, putting them in the lead... With
13 points. The number of members in a witches coven! Best Wrong answers to the question, "What does WAG stand for in pro sports..."

Resident champs, Tequila Mockingbirds took home the gold, as per their usual. Migratory Pickles on a Plate ate second place while the AFCF (aka Allen Fairview Chamber Friends) surrounded and overwhelmed third, a feat made possible by having about a hundred bodies at their table! (They looked like Calvera and his forty
bandits from The Magnificent Seven over there!)

This week's parting shot comes to us from the late Irish poet and IRA member, Brendan Behan, who wisely wrote - "The most important things to do in the world are to get something to eat, something to drink, and somebody to love you."
