QUIZ RECAP

The goings on at Kilarney's last night were swift, funny and enjoyable. With few
patrons other than the players present, play proceeded perfectly with pleasant precision!
(Say that three times real fast!) Newbies the Dumbo's (already cautioned by Quiz Master
Lou that self deprecation was his domain) ranked last, but seemed to enjoy themselves
anyhow.

Resident champs Tequila Mockingbird brought home the gold again, while Wossamata-U, wearing
Rocky & Bullwinkle team Tee's no less, got a second place win. The Alcoballics pulled off
an amazing Double-or-Nothing in Round Five setting them up nicely for a third place prize.

Quiz Notables:

The Tuesday FaceBook question was probably just as conspicuous for the ability of the
Quiz Master to pronounce Chiwetel Eljiofor's name as it was for the answer.

Nobody could identify Sue Bird from that photo.

Is that a boomerang in your Speedo or are you just happy to see me?

The Razee's and the Teen Choice Awards both have the requisite "ee" to suit the quiz,
but which was more meaningful?

If a misguided fan wanted to have plastic surgery to look like Rihanna, would they call
it Rihanno-plasty?

Tough Round Five! Rams-Chargers, AMC-Regal... And yet, one team got a Double-or-Nothing
win out of it!
